Lee Sung-min & Kim Moo-yeol Reveal Acting Secrets

Lee Sung-min and Kim Mu-yeol, the lead actors in Netflix's new series 'The Bequeathed,' announced their comeback with a thrilling action spectacle, sharing humorous anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories about their acting. In a video released on the YouTube channel 'Netflix Korea,' the two actors discussed their current lives alongside introducing the project. 'The Bequeathed' is an action-packed drama centered around the "Teacher's Rights Protection Agency," formed to protect the crumbling education system.

Lee Sung-min and Kim Mu-yeol heightened anticipation by delving into their characters and the unique world of the series. The two actors continued in a friendly atmosphere, sharing memories of their school days from different generations.

The two veteran actors opened up about the challenges they faced for the project. Kim Mu-yeol, who is balancing parenting and his acting career, confessed, "Parenting itself is much more physically demanding than performing intense action scenes with Ma Dong-seok, Korea's representative action star." Lee Sung-min revealed that he experienced extreme fatigue while drastically losing weight for the filming of his recent project, 'Hunting Dogs Season 2.'

Recalling his past experience with difficult wire action filming, Lee Sung-min said it left him with such a terrifying trauma that he wouldn't do it even if paid. He also shared vivid behind-the-scenes stories, including a three-day ordeal filming a "chili pepper dragonfly physical scene" during 'Can't Be Helped' and a bewildering moment after filming 'The Night of the Night' when his emotions were unsettled.

Lee Sung-min revealed that he actively uses YouTube as a secret weapon for his acting. He explained, "I accumulate material by finding videos that contain specific symptoms or characteristics of the characters I need to portray, storing them in a corner of my mind." He mentioned that he uses this collected information immediately on set, and it was particularly effective in completing the character of Chairman Jin Yang-cheol in 'Reborn Rich.' Lee Sung-min also proved his love for his fans by sharing a heartwarming story of visiting a birthday cafe to meet them recently.
