Byeon Wooseok's 'Parallel Lines' OST for 'The King's Affection'

The final OST for MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'A Royal Lady in the 21st Century,' titled 'Parallel Lines,' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on the 15th. The song was personally sung by Byun Woo-seok, who plays the male lead, Prince Ian.

'A Royal Lady in the 21st Century' is set in a constitutional monarchy in 21st-century South Korea. It depicts the destiny-driven, class-breaking romance between chaebol heiress Sung Hee-ju (played by IU), who has everything but is of commoner status, and Prince Ian (played by Byun Woo-seok), the king's son who can possess nothing and is therefore sorrowful. The drama is currently airing to high ratings and has only two episodes left until its conclusion.

The OST 'Parallel Lines,' to be released this time, is an emotional ballad themed around the poignant love between Sung Hee-ju and Prince Ian, who have lived vastly different lives.
